📌 About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects that support Google’s global data center growth. This role requires both technical leadership and program management excellence—driving projects from concept to execution while ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
You’ll provide strategic direction, manage technical trade-offs, and influence engineering decisions that impact how billions of users access Google Cloud’s infrastructure worldwide.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Lead a geographically dispersed team of Technical Program Managers working on server floor designs and network capacity deployments.
- Drive facility implementation planning, deployment standards, and detailed data analysis.
- Build technical roadmaps, define scope, plan programs, and implement process/tooling improvements.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure timely delivery of data center designs and networking capacity.
- Leverage automation and tools to accelerate and scale data center design processes.
🎯 Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years in program management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
💡 Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading technical program managers.
- 5+ years of experience with data center design.
- 5+ years of expertise in network planning and architecture.
